Ruth's Bio

Ruth Knill Ruth received her Doctoral degree in applied Mathematics from the Technion-Israel Institute of Technology, and was a researcher in the field of Astronomy publishing over 30 research articles. During this time she started to practice Iyengar yoga and became interested in alternative healing arts.

She received her Masters of Oriental Medicine from the New England School of Acupuncture, the nation's oldest college of Chinese medicine. She is a National Board Certified Acupuncturist and Chinese Herbalist.

She is passionate about assisting people to take control of their health through natural healthcare. She has received advanced training in Craniosacral therapy, Chinese herbal medicine, orthopedic massage, western herbal medicine, and nutritional cleansing coaching.

She currently supervises interns in an herbal clinic at the Aids Care Project and Pathways to Complementary Medicine, a busy not for profit clinic in downtown Boston.

Having specialized in the herbal Chinese medicine, Ruth can thus combine two powerful healing therapies to the benefit of her patients.

With a strong background in science (Ph.D. in Applied Mathematics), she is able to analyze and assess patient needs with clarity and precision.
